Executive Chairman of First Sky Group, Mr. Eric Seddy Kutortse has been honoured by the Trinity Temple Assemblies of God Church with the Trinity Excellence Award in Missions for his selfless dedication and sacrifices to the work of God.
The citation accompanying the honour described Mr. Kutortse as a symbol of selfless giving, always sacrificing his comfort and energy to ensure the work of God moves on. The citation continued that Mr. Kutortse’s love for missions is exemplary with the sole aim to bring relief and comfort to many souls in pain.
In recognition, the Trinity Temple Assemblies of God Church Board conferred the Trinity Excellence Award in Missions to honour him.
The presentation of the plaque was during the dedication of the 800 seater capacity ultra-modern church auditorium of the Trinity Temple Assemblies of God (TTAG) which coincided with the 16th anniversary celebration of the church on May 27, 2023.
Mr. Kutortse who was the Project Manager for the Church Building Project of TTAG, expressed his delight at the completion of the project despite initial challenges experienced with the acquisition of the land.
Mr. Kutortse said with commitment, the church overcame the challenge with the acquisition of land hence their persistence in achieving the vision, with the project started about a year and half ago with internally generated funds.
As part of the future projections, he added that the church is set to establish an Educational Foundation to support the underprivileged yet talented children in accessing quality education.
Mr. Kutortse who is also the Group Chairman of First Sky Group, observed First Sky Group hadbeen committed to the vision of Assemblies of God for years hence its partnership with the church resulting in building and donating churches.
“About five years ago, the First Sky Group built almost 60 churches and dedicated them to the service of God. To date, we have constructed 72 churches across the country. We are committed to construct at least three of such edifices by the end of the year 2023 to the glory of God”, Mr. Kutortse said.
