First Sky Group, a wholly owned Ghanaian Group of companies, with interest in Construction, Hospitality, Insurance, Commodities, and Banking, is supporting the Fifth Volta Regional Trade and Investment Fair with an amount of One Hundred Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC 100,000) and an insurance cover package valued at Twenty million Ghana Cedis (GHS 20million) for all participants.
The Fifth Volta Regional Trade and Investment Fair, on the theme Promoting Sustainable Trade Investment, is scheduled to take place from November 15, 2021 – November 28, 2021. The aim of the Fair is to market the Volta Region with its ever present business and investment opportunities with the focus for the 5th edition on Agribusiness, Tourism and ICT.
Announcing the package at the presentation of a cheque at a short ceremony, Executive Chairman of First Sky Group, Mr. Eric Kutortse commended the Volta Regional Minister, Dr. Archibald Yao Letsa for the laudable idea and stressed the need for more support from the business community.
Mr. Kutortse explained the gesture from First Sky Group was in response to an appeal from the Volta Regional Minister to partner with the Trade and Investment Fair in the Region explaining that the support was co
nsistent with the Group’s business sustainability model anchored on the presence of its subsidiaries First Sky Construction Limited, Volta Serene Hotel, and Serene Insurance Company Limited in the Region.
Receiving the cheque, Volta Regional Minister, Dr. Archibald Yao Letsa thanked the Executive Chairman and First Sky Group for the continued immense support and observed that First Sky Group as a key partner in the previous editions of the Fair, has become the biggest sponsor so far for the 5th edition.
He recalled the success of previous edition of the Fair and urged Voltarians to emulate example of the Executive Chairman of First Sky Group, Mr. Eric Kutortse and others. He added that some professional indigenes from the Region including high profile media personalities – Emefa Apau, Dzifa Bampoe, Bernard Avle have been appointed as brand ambassadors for the Fair and the Region.
Dr. Letsa stressed that interest in the fair is very high and urged citizenry of the Region to conduct themselves accordingly to consolidate the good image of the Region as a welcoming and hospitable people.
He noted that the Volta Region was proud of First Sky Group adding that Volta Serene Hotel and Serene Insurance have become the pride of the Region in positioning and marketing the business opportunities that needed to be tapped into.
